Our Chairman and CEO, Peter Droussiotis, has served as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the board of Sequel Business Solutions Limited, the City-based, award-winning insurance and reinsurance business solutions and software specialist provider from July 2013 to June 2017.
Sequel was acquired by HgCapital private equity house in July 2014 and was ranked as one of the top 25 technology companies in the UK based on financial performance and long-term potential (megabuyte50). The company was sold to US analytics group Verisk Verisk's Insurance Solutions | Verisk Analytics for a price of £250m in the summer of 2017.
During this engagement, Peter focused on a range of corporate development activities, working closely with Sequel’s senior management team, including the provision of advice and guidance in relation to Sequel’s organisational penetration and positioning in the London and international insurance and reinsurance markets, client relationship management, corporate development and strategic consultancy services.
