Simon Pitsillides: Marketing, Corporate Social Responsibility and Communications Consultant
Simon’s breadth of knowledge and experience span both traditional marketing and advertising with old media as well as new media tools and solutions. He has previously worked with Procter & Gamble in relation to their advertising campaigns and has more recently advised on an innovative, interactive and data-based lead generation platform for Deloitte which was the result of Simon’s combined knowledge in digital marketing, user experience design, advertising, design and technology.
Since 2008 Simon has undertaken the preparation and communication of CSR reports for major corporations based on the Global Reporting Initiative Framework. CSR has assumed increasing strategic importance for companies keen to build and maintain stakeholder trust and is gradually becoming a mandatory requirement for all companies globally. Large companies and organizations within the EU are required to issue CSR reports.
In addition to the above, Simon’s portfolio of blue chip clients has included: Action Global Communications, the Central Bank of Cyprus, Energean Oil and Gas, ENPI (European Commission communication office), European Delegation in Georgia (projects: Let's Meet Europe, ENPARD), EU Partnership for Peace Programme, National Bank of Greece, Tetrapak, UK-Cyprus Enterprise Council and Viohalco.
Since 2001, Simon has also run his own media and communications consultancy, FRBH Consultants Ltd. Simon has an MBA in Marketing from the Oxford Brookes University (2001), is a Chartered Marketer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing in the United Kingdom.
